The drive from Reno, Nevada to Davis, California (146 miles). Roads traveled: I-80 over Donner Pass, Yuba Pass, Emigrant Gap and thru Truckee and Sacramento. Views of I-80 to the UC Davis campus.

The drive from Reno, Nevada to Albany, Oregon (512 miles). Roads traveled: US 395, CA 44, CA 89, I-5. Views of Mt. Shasta, Subway Cave, Burney Falls, Hat Creek Rim, and the Pacific Crest Trail.
